There are many ways to carve the filtration turkey.
For my money unless site logistics force you to do so...I would not use a any pressurized filters. Let gravity do much of the work. Open filter contains give a great opportunity for gas exchange and replacement of DO used by the bacteria.
Water exiting a gravity feed filter system should have higher DO that when it entered. But with a pressurized tank...no way to add oxygen inside...so DO has to be less when exiting.
Some folks will say...you can make up for it elsewhere. I don't want a fitler I have to compensate for elsewhere. I am running two Nexus each with 410 Answers. Each have an Airtech 120L boiling the K1. Each of the two BDs have an Airtech 80L. Works for our fish......
