What a wonderful and appreciated, as well as, timely - response.

Dear Above,

Thank you for your generous recognition and for your 'timely' response to this past week-ends koi show in Chicago...

Indeed, this past week-ends koi show was a popular show as there was significant local participation, as well as, invitee's (including myself and numerous others) who came quite a distance in order to share in the fun and to particpate...which as we know is what koi shows are all about!

Participation...and, sharing the experience.

Don't you agree?

Yes, I was most fortunate to have won Supreme Grand Champion, as well as, Grand Champion 'B' and a prize for Baby Champion too ~ along with the very popular Ms. Bay Bateman who took home the well deserved Grand Champion Reserve for her own breathtaking Showa.

Please also note that the Cayman Island Koi Club pins which we had available at the Chicago show sold in unexpected huge quantities...with Mr. Dale Torok who is also a member of the Greater Louisville Koi and Goldfish Society assuming responsibility for pins sales and for sending the money to Mr. Doug Dahl in California.

Indeed, I personally designed with the head of our art department and I purchased each pin myself even though we in the Cayman Islands are not subject to KHV...However, we certainly recognise that KHV research requires more funds in order to find a cure. Thus, our club shall donate 100% of the ten dollars USD each pin is sold for to KHV research (plus, $1.00 each for shipping and handling.)

Therefore, in order to become an honourary member of the Cayman Islands Koi Club and to do your personal part in helping to find a cure for KHV...your purchase of a Cayman Island Koi Club pin - could soon itself find the cure which one day saves one of your own beloved fish.

Thus,'please' don't delay - contact Dale Torok today and purchase a Cayman Island Club pin!

...Or, as many pins as we have still remaining available.

Russ, as regards Japan...Yeah, mon, please save a place for me at breakfast as I shall look forward to again seeing you and your pals...

Of particular interest, Russ, the SHOWA I purchased in Japan when we were there together and which won this past week-ends Chicago show - was purchased on one of the mornings when we had sat together over breakfast in Ojiya.

With my best personal regards,

Your pal
