The fact that she is a sandan and 18" long and only going for $300 raises a red flag for me. I am used to seeing koi this age and size going for at least $800. I do have four potential concerns:
1. Length is a little short. Dick is right, she does look stubby. As to whether she will lengthen I do not know.
2. With GR it's hard to know the quality without physically looking at the koi.
3. There is a white pocket on the left side of the last hi step. I don't know if this is a huge concern or not. All as I know is from my little experience, I have had koi with white pockets like this that just gets bigger with time.
4. Online. I have never bought a koi online and I maybe never will. I am at a stage in the hobby where I want quality koi in my collection. It's just not fun giving my koi away because they don't pan out.
With all this said, it really depends on you. If you want a nice-looking koi and you have the space then this might be a good purchase. Good luck with your decision.
