It is also important that everyone is aware that the wearing of our CAYMAN ISLAND KOI CLUB pin evidences that the wearer thereof has made a monetary donation to our mutual fight against KHV - as our club is giving one hundred percent of ALL of the money it receives from the sale of each of our club pins to KHV research...

Nancy, I personally paid for the design and the manufacture of our pins and all of the money taken in is going for KHV reserach. Every cent!

We beieve everyone purchasing a pin should also be aware that KHV is not a problem to our ouw local membership as the high tropical temperatures on our island does not encourage KHV...Therefore, wethis is simply our way to demonstate our love for koi, as well as, our desire to do something totally unselfish in saving YOUR fish (and, those of friends far and wide all around the world) from the ravages of this dred disease.

Nancy, some have said they believe that these forms of our commmitment to our hobby must be evidence of something other than what it actually is...

Thus, in all uncertain terms - what it actually is - is our simply showing our unblemished love of koi; especially, to those who participate faily and openly in the hobby and in the breeding, those who are dealers and to those who work so hard in judging and in making it possible for any of us who show our koi - for having made it possible for us to have such wonderful koi shows to attend - whereby this hobby can grow and prosper. And, new people can be enticed into sharing-in our love of koi.

One one more thing Ms. Nancy - whilst it is true that we in this part of the world are subject to frequent hurricanes - it was you who in the above photo of our club pin have turned our pin (and, thus our island) onto it's side.

Our country/island should be shown horizontal, not veritcal.)

Again, with my warmest affection and respect,

Dear Lee
I profusely apologize for turning your beautiful country on its side. In my old age, computers do not come very easily to me and all there workings. Thus I was so excited to have received it, and wanted to share your beautiful countries pin. That I did so in such a hurry, that I made a slight change in how your country sits.

I have corrected it in this reply, Please except my deepest apology.
