I think I spelled it wrong it should be Chitonal. The stuff is used to aid in digestion and to assimulate the liver to promote better skin quality. I think it is made from crab shell, but can't really read the japanese writing on the bag. I first used it in 2000 when Champkoi carried it so I bought it and Kevin told me he used it in his paste food for his main pond. The stuff works well and you can see the difference in the koi within a week or so. Eastern usually carries it and I think they have in stock. I gave Brian half my bag so he could condition the fish in the big pond at Champ, it is what we call Nishikigoi Cocaine hahahahahaha......I'll catch you some time if you go to Champ.
