For the holiday wish list

There are many things you put on your holiday koi keeping wish list for yourself or your favorite koi kichi. (Oh no, he said the "kk" words).

Of course there is always new pond test kits (Lamott or Hach) and meters (highly recommend getting and using an ORP meter that you can calibrate such as the Pinpoint model). For a high end gift, you can also give a seat to a multiday koi keeping health seminar. (
www.koihealthseminar.com).

I would also suggest folks build up their own personal library of koi keeping refernce materials. I have complied below a list of available reference materials. Most of the books should be listed in Amazon book department. A few may be out of print or out of stock. If you do a search in Amazon books for koi, you will get many hits.

Here is a new book by a collection of authors in the UK that are highly respected. They do regular articles in Koi and Koi Carp magazines plus product koi keeping videos. It is on my wish list.

Two other new books on my wish list are Koi 1 and Koi 2 released by Evolution Aqua. They should be available via an EA dealer.
