If this was my pond and I was trying to improve/increase my bio filtration, I would first make sure I could remove ALL the waste prior to the bio chamber. Then, I would add a 150 gal. Kormet brand round tank, install a pvc plate with many 1/4" holes drilled in it about 10-12" from the bottom. I would then add 3 bags of K1 and at least 60 litres/hr of air to really get it moving. This would give you plenty of bio for that fish load. The last thing I would do is,..........wait for it...............GET RID OF SOME OF THOSE FISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
