I have contacted our local Koi society and we are doing what we can to try to contain the virus - it's difficult when people refuse to accept responsibility - and although I didn't know it before I bought the fish, this dealer has had problems with KHV in the past.
I know exactly where the virus came from, the only fish I have put in my pond in the last six years have been from this dealer - one in August, which is obviously now dead and one about a month ago, also dead - I suspect this last one was the culprit - a kohaku imported from Taiwan.
