You may find that the head remains more yellowish than you might prefer in a perfect world, although I expect it will tone down in time. On the bright side, even if she remains a tad yellowish, my observation has been that on such koi the maruten remains solid, and even builds thickness on the head. She will steal hearts at 26"+ regardless.
