As long as I have been in the hobby I find nothing really helps from what I have experienced...There might be some ways of controlling it, but I feel that if you have fish in that condition, it usually isnt worth all the time and money to try and fix a condition that will obviously come back within weeks or months. I look at that link and see someone trying to cure "in hope" it will return to condition or get better isnt doing justice to the fish. As this hobby is about the beauty of Nishikigoi, keeping Hikkui raveaged fish is beyond what this hobby is about.

I have seen and heard of hobbyist buying doctered GoSanke from dealers and breeders with Hikkui only for it to reappear several months later after having the fish in the pond. So BUYER beware!!!
