Absolutely Kiki. Ying and Yang. One can't have one without the other!

Selamat tinggal!

Aha, so you speak Indonesian. What a surprise. Have you been to my country?. We have big numbers of koi lover in Indonesia. Since we don't have winter, growth rate can be tremendous here. A lot of hobbyists can attain 80 cm plus size in concrete ponds.

Should you make a visit, you have to try to see koi ponds here!

I don't think we were targeted for any particular reason. We did register some domain names lately and parked them, and that information is public, so I suspect that perhaps that's how the hackers found us.

Nothing was damaged in a permanent sense, so I'm thankful that at least it was someone benevolent that pointed out vulnerabilities.

Kiky, I met the other "Kiki" last week!

Actually Kiki as I live in Holland, I am surrounded with Indonesians and their culture ( for the people who don't know, Indonesia was a Dutch colony until shortly after WWII). I have Bapi Pangang at least twice a month  . I have never been there but know lots of people who have.
Yes it would be nice to have a bit less winter like you do. In that respect you are very luck where you live.

Scott, I bet you also like 'nasi goreng', the most common Indonesian dish. Because of the long 'relationship' between the two countries, many of the older people here even speak Dutch. But the younger generation is more English minded (like me!).

Brian,
So you met Kiki, who is my dealer. I bought most of my koi from him. Did he purchase big numbers of koi? He is supposed to be back tonight. But I haven't contacted him yet

Kiki did very well for himself, but I didn't pay attention to numbers. Bought some very nice individual koi though.

Thanks for the information Brian. I called his place just now, immediately after reading your post. He is already in Jakarta, our capital city. Our place is called Bandung, about 200 km south of the capital, and about 4 hours drive by car. So he should be home past midnight. I'll call him tomorrow and talk about you!

Brian, I called 'Kiki' today and have a brief conversation. Yes of course he said nice things about you, and also about Mike Snaden, whom he met too.

Besides purchasing koi, in quite big numbers he assured me, he was busy measuring TDS of pond water especially in Momotaro and Sakai. In fact, I started this thread as a result of our lengthy discussion about the effects of 'soft' water on koi. Some time next week, when I am free, I will visit him and have a long long talk about his trip.
