Everyone is invited to the 12th Annual TKFGS Koi Sale & Seminars*April 1-2, 2006 Featuring Koi from Yohei Koi Farm of Toyoto City, Japan

*Special Guest: Mr. Yohei Nagasaki, a koi breeder from Japan is bringing a
select collection of his best baby koi from the 2005 breeding season

Texas Koi & Fancy Goldfish Societies 12th annual imported fish sale & seminars will be April 1-2, 2006. This event is free and open to the public. Location is on the grounds of Water Garden Gems, on Interstate 10 just east of San Antonio, Texas between exits #593 and #595 on the north frontage road. Hours are 8 am-5pm on April 1st & 10 am-4pm on April 2nd.
DIRECT FROM JAPAN KOI SALE: Mr. Yohei Nagasaki is a very successful koi breeder from Toyoto City, Japan. Yohei Koi Farms is becoming well known for breeding Hybrid (Magoi crossed) Kohaku. Sanke, Showa, Goshiki, and Yamabuki. Mr. Yohei is most famous for breeding jumbo sized and very strong and healthy koi. Yohei Koi that have won top awards in shows all over Japan. At a recent All Japan Show a Yohei Sanke won Best in Size 70 cm for a Sanke. This is a unique opportunity to learn/buy from the best. Mr. Yohei will be bringing a selection of some of his best baby koi. He will also be giving special koi lectures and answering questions about koi selection and care etc. Mr. Nagasaki will be donating a show quality hybrid koi for a club raffle to be held Saturday, April 1st. You must be present to win fish raffles. Imported koi will be screened for diseases, quarantined and certified by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, & Fisheries by physical examination and verified by the PCR Test as KHV free. We strongly recommend all fish be placed in appropriate quarantine prior to being placed in the owners pond.

Mr. Megumi Yoshida has been in the koi business in Tokyo, Japan for 40 years. He is a 3rd generation koi dealer/breeder and a Director of the Japanese Koi dealers association. He has special relationships with top koi breeders in Japan. Mr. Yoshida has supplied Grand Champion koi to hobbyists all over the world. This will be his 12th annual sale with us. In addition to Mr. Nagasaki’s koi, Mr. Yoshida will be bringing hundreds of additional koi, ranging in price, from $20 6-8 inch one year old babies to larger and potential champion koi priced up to several thousand dollars from Japan’s top breeders.
LONG FIN KOI: Locally bred by Vance Schultze pond & show quality will also be for sale.
GOLDFISH: Locally bred and imported by Ornamental Pond Fish in Louisiana will also be available.
EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS: Will be offered both days. Mr. Yoshida & Mr. Nagasaki will be giving Koi Seminars Saturday & Sunday afternoons. There will be prizes for a koi judging contest on Saturday afternoon. We are finalizing the seminar schedule right now.
