Mag Noy’s Mordi Haimi, Art Lembke To Speak At June 9-11 Pnkca Conv. In Richland, Wa.

We will have four great speakers at this year's PNKCA convention at the Shilo Inn in Richland, WA. They are: Mordi Haimi, of Mag Noy Ltd., Israel, will discuss what steps Mag Noy has taken to develop a KHV-resistant koi; Art Lembke, an AKCA and ZNA Judge, will talk about koi judging and how to pick potential show winners; Dave Moore, of Koi Joy Pond Shop in Kennewick, WA, will explain the difference between garden ponds and koi ponds and show pictures of what some of his customers have done; and Jan Jordan a Master Gardner from Richland, WA., who will talk about mixing pond plants and fish.

The weekend will kick off with a Friday night wine tasting and chocolate. The speakers will present their talks all day Saturday. "Speaker raffles" will be held during the breaks. Saturday night will be the banquet with more raffles and an auction. Sunday there will be a chartered bus-pond tour, with lunch hosted by Dave Moore and his family at the Koi Joy Pond Shop.

Also, we are very excited about the vendor fair that will be held during the convention. We have some excellent vendors signed up already and expect more to do so between now and the time of the convention. These folks will be offering some excellent products for your pond, garden and home. If you would like information on the convention, its speakers, to register, or if you would like to sign up as a vendor, go to www.pnkca.com and click on the 2006 Convention banner. For more information you can also contact Carmen Stafford at castafford@charter.net. The Mid-Columbia Koi & Pond Club is hosting this convention for the PNKCA. It will be a great convention. Hope to see you there.
