The 21st Annual KCSD Koi Show will be February 16th and 17th, 2008 (President's Day Weekend) at the Activity Center of the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

Put on by Koi Club of San Diego
Its going to be another Great Show,

All the dealers who setup booths are sponsors...

Tom your true on that...but the show was done in conjunction with Shinkokai last year, so it seems it wont be this year. Anyways, San Diego always seems to be one of the premier shows in SoCal.

Just got an e-mail from the boss, Joel Burkard, Shinkokai will be at the San Diego Show in 2008!

Just what the show needs to save it..."The Shinkokai" Is there going to be cash awards again?

I think the cash awards were provided by Aqua Ultra Violet last year. I don't know about this year.

AWARDS PRESENTATION

For the first time ever at our show, we will offer cash prizes, in addition to trophies for the top six awards. Thank you to Aqua Ultraviolet for sponsoring the following cash prizes.

Grand Champion $1,000
Reserve Grand Champion $350
Best Non-Gosanke Champion $350
Best Mature $100
Best Young $100
Best Baby $100

1. Awards will be presented at the Saturday Night Banquet after dinner on February 16th at the show site.

Why does it say for the first time ever for the cash prizes. Last year was the first time. Could this just be a missprint?
