ZNA Potomac 2008 Show

I know its early but put it on your calendar now so you don't forget! The dates are September 12-14 2008 and it will be held at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna Virginia. We had over 180 koi in the show in 2007 and we hope to have even more this year! More details will be posted such as the judges, vendors and show packets at a later date. Jim isn't it a little unusual to have your show the same weekend as the MAKC show ????

Thats the weekend my club usually has its show. MAKC's last two shows were at the end of September and the one before that was in August. Who would have guessed they would have moved it to our regular show date? I guess we'll have to live with it. Perhaps it might draw a bigger crowd to both shows. Go to one one day and the other the next.

I dont see a problem there either. There were only 4 people that showed at both shows last year. As for vendors we only had 4 to begin with. One of them has commited to coming back this year and will also being doing the MAKC show as well since they are so close and they have the staff to be able to do both shows at the same time. ZNA Potomac only has like 50-60 members while MAKC has 600+. I really don't think our show will have all that big of an impact on the MAKC show.

Seems like a fun event to go to. I guess I will have to wait for the nichrin to come out to see pics of the fish. Who is your photographer?

Well I took the photos last year but I'm trying to bring in a ringer to do it this year .
