Thumbs up The 6th Dutch Koi & Pond Days

KOI 2000 is proud to present The 6th National Koi and Pond Days, which are to be held May 23rd, 24th & 25th at Safari Zoo Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek, The Netherlands. During this colourful event you are about to have an experience you will not soon forget. After a walk through the streets of the ‘Japan Boulevard’, and looking at all the latest merchandise available at one of the many stands, you will be eye to eye with the finest Nishikigoi Europe has to offer, in the ‘Battle of the Titans’.

A beauty contest for carp and a Koi and pond exhibition with the latest merchandise available and the most sophisticated techniques. That is what you will find at The National Koi and Pond Days. But you will also see marvellous show gardens as well as an event terrain which will remind you of Japan.

In the 'Battle of the Titans', the international Koi show, dealers and hobbyists from The Netherlands, Belgium and beyond show their finest Koi to the public. An international jury, consisting of Mr. Hisashi Hirasawa (JP), Mr. Haruo Aoki (JP) en Mr. Alan Coogan (UK), will decide which of the beauties is the best Koi of the competition. An incredibly hard task as you may understand!

At the Koi and pond exhibition dealers are helpful to answer all your Koi related questions. So if you are planning to build a new pond, this exhibition is the place to be! Apart from Koi and ponds, you will also find arts and crafts, bonsai, garden products and Japanese traditions. New this year is the exhibition of Japanese nature aquaria (Amano style).

But that is not all. Visitors of The National Koi and Pond Days get a reduced-fare pass of 25% for the entry of Safari Zoo Beekse Bergen, the biggest wildlife zoo of Europe. So after the Japanese experiences at the Koi show you can also enjoy a day in 'Africa'!
