San Diego Koi Club Auction May 3rd 2008

May 3rd were having an Auction at California Koi Farm....
If anyone wants to bring Koi we split the $$ with the club 50/50
up to $300.
The club takes max $150 per Koi unless the fish is donated.

I hope it was a great turn out. I was at the California Koi Farm Wed. and we were talking a bout the auction. My wife and I wanted to attend, but we went to my lil nieces birthday party in Carlsbad. Maybe next year.

I witnessed 20- 30 inch koi going for $40, sometimes (many times) less. There was a large donation of LARGE koi to the auction.. Boy oh boy, my back is hurting from lifting all those monsters.

I witnessed you buying a 31+ inch koi for $25...... I did tell people not to bid on it for you because your son wanted it and he helped us out very much....
And a buddy of yours gave you a nice Sanke

I guess I really missed out. although my pond isnt near capable to handle a 20+ koi, I still would have liked to check them out.
