You have some HTML code included in your avatar unnecessarily by the look of it.

Mark,

How would you know that? Is it just because the picture will not show, or are you able to check other people's profile?

I was trying to post a picture of my new kohaku and apparently the size is too large. I'm having trouble getting it down to 6 kb. Mark - I noticed on another post you resized a photo for someone - can you help?

size of av

gotta edit it in a graphics program photoshop type should be able to click on image in the menu and resize the pic down and possibly the resolution and keep saving till you have it right. make sure you make a copy first or you may lose the original image!

Folks,

The maximum size for avatars is 100 x 100 pixels. If you can't manage to get it down to quite that size, let me know and I can increase the allowable size limit.

Yeh Mike I have tried that with my Microsoft Digital Imaging software - still can't get it that small. I get down to about 26 - 30 kb if I'm lucky on some photos. Brian is there a reason it can't be larger? Usually emailing digital photos of under 100 kb works well - how much could you increase the capacity? Thanks
