poist in place

yes agree all from one page is better ya might want to limit total image size incase a scanned image comes through at say 1200 dpi I know I have sent a few large files to a friend w/ a T1 line and even he balked when it took a few second to down load one pic.. the file was 52 MB! for one photo. so all from one spot but possibly an auto resize featur like aol uses to send email attached photos? thanks and keep up the great work

Great Brian. This new format is a lot easier anyway and being able to post pictures that way would even make it better.

Folks,

I've finally got the code all sorted out, and have hopfully been able to upload it and switch databases transparently. All your accounts and messages should still be available, and you should be able to post directly from your computer to this message forum instead of having to link to a URL on the web where your pictures have been uploaded.

All I ask is that you keep photo uploads to a reasonable file size, and that you not link from other sites to your posted photos here...in other words, please don't use us as an image host. The photos that you upload are automatically converted to thumbnails, which can then be clicked on to view the full-sized image.

Please test the new system out, and let me know promptly should you encounter any bugs.

Hope everyone likes the new functionality!

Hi Joy,

I was wondering where you were! To attach messages to your post, simply scroll down past the message text box to the "add an attachment" box, and click the "browse" button to select a file from your own hard drive. Once selected, add a comment in the "File comment" text box, and then press the preview button if you'd like to first preview before posting, and then the "submit" button to post.

It's just that simple, and you can also post a picture in your private message box as well. Give it a try!
