pic

Kiky I can try to telll you how I made it work... first take the photo you want to post. open it in a photoshop type program. while the phot is in the open photo shop window you should have a tab for image click that should find a resize tab.click/hover should have option for image size. Aclick here will open a window with all the image size info. pixel dimensions, document size and resolution. quick way to downsize is picture size by dropping a dimension - the other dimension should drop as well. say starting with an 8x 10 photo by changing the "8" to say a 3 inch measurement the 10 will drop to 4.5 roughly. next reset the resolution to about 150 pixels per inch now at the top of this image size window ther should be a Pixel dimensions size. I found that to be the key to my posting. this number should not be greater than 700k. if it is larger go back and try setting back first the resolution. if the pixel dimension is a lot smaller than 700k you can conversely increase the picture size or resolution until you reach close to 700k. Now very important... to save this now on your machine goto " file ", " save as " thsi should bring you to your picture file with the curren name of the file highlighted. Give the new image a new file name such as the current name with 150dpi added so you can recognize it as sized for posting and so you do not replace you original file. click save. Now once you are back to the post reply section of the forum add subject title try just listing test in the message box- no sense typing a lot till it works- after this go to add attachment area. click the " Browse" button and search in the pull down directory to find your pictures file might be in documents click my pictures or wherever you have your pictures filed. open the file where pic is stored. click on the copy you have made and the file path will show up in th ebox net to the browse button add file comment if you like now click " add attachment" now click preview button if the pic shows up you made it ! now click submit and you can sit back and relax while the world looks at your pic. If any one knows an easier way I would be happy to try and endorse it.! seems like a lot but once you get it it si not that bad.

700k is the limit on set on single photographs, because I think that the size can be scaled down very well with programs like photoshop or paintshop pro. I've set a limit on video to 4MB though, and you can upload formats such as real media, mpg, avi, quicktime, etc.

Hi Brian and Mike,
By '700k', you really mean 700 kilobytes (kb) right? After doing what you have explained, and clicking the preview box, I got "no post mode" reply. Where have I gone wrong?
