| Sanke Bloodlines and Their Characteristics As a learning tool I thought it would be interesting to have a discussion of sanke bloodlines and characteristics. Perhaps members could post sanke photos to depict these differences and traits. Older lineages such as Torazo, Sadazo, Jinbei, Kichinai, and Izumiya have led to recognizable sumi markings in today's sankes. The more recent Matsunosuke and Dainichi lines have their own distinguishing features. I'll start with a sanke I have that is 14 inches in length and has smaller sumi markings. Not knowing any better I would assume Kichinai influenced. Any thoughts? Hoping this thread might educate somer of us to better understand this variety. |
