Koi Show Pin Collectors

I see that pins for the 2004 All Japan show that was not held are now being sold. From a collector's perspective, I guess there something special about that?

Seems rather commercial. But, if I get some Florida clubs to join together in producing pins to shows never held, will you guys buy them? If so, I'm sure I can find some clubs to help meet your need. .... Is it essential the club actually have members?

Hi Mike,

I own one of the ZNA 2003 pins for that show that wasn't held.
I don't know anything about a 2004 show - do tell.

If you want pin info go to www.koipin.com

I hate to ask a dumb question, but how much value is a pin for a show not held? What is the most expensive pin you own?

I've only every paid the sale price for them or traded them with other collectors.

I've occasionally traded two for one to get a pin but thats about the limit.

I know of a US Pin Collecter that paid $50 dollars for one on e-bay.

Hey MikeM
Most likely the pins had already been produced, bought and paid for. What are they supposed to do? At least maybe they can recoup some of the cost - ya think?
