Kohaku babies

I'm back on line at last!

These were a few small to middle size babies which I singled out to move to another pond, plus a few sanke. Photo taken 27 Aug and growing by the minute.
3" - 4" at time of photo.

Maurice

How do you consider the results now as opposed to previous years?

Mark, it's been a bad day for me, I'll explain to all when I know the full consequences of the day.

But, to answer your question.

Kohaku, no comparison with last year, but then the parents have stepped up a level. Have a guess, are those in the picture the best or not? Time will tell, but I have a hunch there may be a few better.

Sanke have been disappointing, only a little better than last year, though I have a number one quality female. I'll have to work on hunting out better males next month.

Ran out of time to spawn showa, so will have to wait till next year.
Who'd be a one-man-band?

Maurice.

Hi Maurice,
Welcome back, I was just thinking about you're fry when I opened the website and what do I see....... an update.
If I breed any koi half as good as that this year I would be a happy man.
Very nice.
