It is easier to say bad things, than good. And it is also human nature to want "something for nothing", or less than it is worth. But best i can tell, that is not the way the world works.

Nice job Craig. I will take the Maruten in another year

I like both Kohaku's, great eye in picking them out and hats off for the husbandary. As far as the comment of "junk fish", is there really anything junk? Junk is in the eye of the beholder.

Here's my Momotaro Tosai...Bought this tosai 2 months ago, for $50 what can I say. Anyways, i just wanted to see how this tosai developed. When i got it home it was really skinny. The conformation is really coming around....Just wanted to share this pic.

Hello Craig,
I like your two Momotaro Tosai Kohaku. Their growth in your pond is amazing, congratulations!
A couple of questions,
I noticed in the first couple of pictures some yelowish color in the head that seems to have dissapeard or at least diminished significantly, is that right?
The sex of some Momotaro Tosai for sale in some dealers web pages is clearly stated. I wonder if you knew it this way or were told by the dealer when you bought your Tosai, and whether you can tell now if it was the true sex.
Best wishes,
Diego

Aquitori: At that price, how could you go wrong?!

craiga: The Sanke has far too much sumi, far too little red, a jumbled pattern, and a very cheerful & bright look! Bet it adds spark to your pond.

Congrats to both of you on your finds.
