For those who celebrate Thanksgiving

Just an opportunity to wish those in this world who celebrate Thanksgiving, a happy one filled with fun and family.

As is traditional I am very Thankfull for the special friends on this board , my extended family.

Wouldn't it be something if i could seat you all down to a table and cut you off a special slice of pumpkin pie!

.

Belated Happy T Day Dick. Hard drive crapped out last week. My son has been trying to retrieve the usaul valuable info that inevitably never gets backed up properly. Finally decided to break out the old lap top and scramble to find my koi bito password. Got Lucky....Actually had it written down.

Hi Dick,

You are a good man.
Here in South Africa we have undergone some drastic changes the last ten years since we have become a politically free land now.
Most of our holidays were racially incorrect and have now been either adapted or changed.
It all is for the better and if it all started 50 years ago it would have been so much better.
The most important thing as you said is sharing it with family and friends who have not changed with the new regime.
I still am very proud to be South African and love the country dearly.
We are growing stronger by the day , as a nation and economically.
Happy holidays to all next month.
Christmas still is Christmas here,
Jaco.

Here in the states the christmas tree has come to symbolize christmas.
They don't have Evergreen trees in south africa do they?

Hi Dick,
We are in the middle of Summer now and all is green here when it rains, which it did.
We have very big plantations with pine trees in the Southern regions.
South Africa is far from being desert like.We have all geological kinds in one country, from tropical to desert.
I think you should come for a visit and see for youreself.

Jaco.
