thanks for the interest

Hi guys,
Thanks for wanting to find out more, the kohaku is my own. Sorry the picture didnt come out as big as I wanted it to, but I'm not to good with a computer at the moment. The Kohaku is five year old in June this year she is 65cm and I brought her last Autumn at Miyako a tiny breeder up the hill from Miyatora in Niigata. I've grown it only 5cm this year a bit dissapointing, but I dont think Miyako has Jumbo genetics in his parent koi. And I also suffer with really hard water in southern England (Dorset), so a Reverse osmosis unit going on this spring
The pond is not mine, however these are its stats.
3200 gallon gravity feeding a evolution aqua sieve then to a Hydro .33 pump feeding the double width bacci shower with approx 4000 gallons the pump is also connected to a mid feed to provide the pump with extra water, because the sieve cant handle the flow. Its got 2inch pipework pressure pipe through out. And the power skimmer with a 2000 gallon pump goes through a 55w uv then heater and then tpr back into the pond.
