Talking Pics from the 36th All-Japan Combined Show

As promised folks...here they are!

From top left to right:

Two shots of the Grand Champion Maruyama Showa of Mr. Komatsu

84 cm Maruten Kohaku owned by Mark and Martin of the UK (bred by Sakai FF)

Giant Champion - Mr. Kuroda - 77cm Momotaro Sanke

"Musashi" - Kokugyo 85 bu - Omosako Yorijo (see KB #3 for details)

90 bu Kokugyo Showa - Owned by a Mr. Ogata (not the breeder) and bred by Ueno

22nd Wakagoi GC makes a debut at the All-Japan

Can't remember who's kohaku this is!

35 bu Kokugyo - Koi-san Europe, bred by Omosako

Anyone want to have a guess?

Brian are you in any of these pictures? If so can you point yourself out for me?

Thanks for taking the time to post them. It sound like it was a great show with some great koi.

Thanks Brian for keeping us updated.
Ah, saw some familiar faces at the show. My local dealer, Max(blue shirt), is there as well.
More pics to come?

Couple of KoiBito Brits that Brian has captured, I'm sure they wont mind being identified.

Andrew Glazzard is in picture 8, he's the one on the left, either just dozed off, or trying to count his chins (sorry Andrew).

Mike Snaden in picture 5 blue shirt and again in pic 9, now white shirt looking a bit worst for wear!.

That's a relief. I was afraid it was going to be another subdivision of the size of a tatami mat!
