Asagi for Dick as promised

Dick,
I don't profess to being a professional, and I can tell you the lighting in the Ryutsu is crappier than crap, and ruins many, many pics...
Anyway, asagi 'A', 80bu, hope you like!

and yet another..

Dick,
I have to tell you, Matt (good to meet you Matt), was keen for me to capture this one for you.
I have to say, not my cup of tea but happy to get the pic for you, hope it's of interest to you.

I had purchased this 3 year old Asagi from Miyatora in October 2004, however it did not survive the earthquake. Id would be curious to know what you think of it (if you can make it out from the poor picture)

Andrew,
I can't thank -you enough! What a nice surprise. I do like the reverse that matt pointed out. very unusual. The red touches at the base of the tail and pecs. I bet the breed thought they'd come on stronger! I just love the first one.The narumi, See how with no red in the Top fin, and more than heavy red in the tail, how stable the beni is up to the lateral line but not over!
Spectatcular fish!

Greg,
I'm sorry you lost that koi. What a shame! I do think it had good potential.
Red was not running wild but present. Body shape was really nice. They tend to be long and thin sometimes and the body on yours was more conventional.
The asgai han and face were a little dark but it may have been because of the GH in the water. Keep trying, you had it right! The net pattern was very tight and even thru-out!

Had to slip in once again and look at the first koi. I love the third picture that shows the red right up to the limits but no more, many times the red down by the tail crosses over the lateral line and hits the back first in that area. this one kinda trails away. Wish I had a magic wand, I'd have my asagi that's waiting to go out in the growth pond this summer end up looking like this one. Andrew thanks again for taking time ON YOUR TRIP to remember me!

Ok Dick, I know you have seen this before but I know you won't complain. This Asagi is owned by some good friends.
