Hi all,

I see a few of you have tried to work out what variety the Koi is I posted pictures of. I actually did ask this question on KoiChat as well, with some guesses along similar lines.

http://www.madaboutkoi.com/dcforum/D...ID9/10608.html

I dont think the owner is particularly concerned about what it is, it's just very attractive Koi.

Hi Bob,

I would call it Beni-Kikokuryu. It's a very attractiv koi in my eyes, because of his body and his attractiv pattern. Other Beni-Kikokuryu often has ripped patterns, but this one is in my hitlist.

Regards Nico

Can anyone tell me where I can get my hand on a momotaro kohaku for a parent koi. I wont to find one before spring. Keirin Koi does not keep to many male koi and wanted to see if I could find one someplace else.
Shot 90% of my pond is male...I think I have a Momotaro male Kohaku...

Dang, you don't know where Koiville, USA is? It's basically the Niigata of the West Coast..Silicon Valley to be exact and we're not talkin implants!! We have such famous Dealers like Genki Koi, Champion Nishikigoi, PS KOI, Eldon-Koi, Tse-Koi, Fancy Koi Outlet, Cherry Hill Koi and last but not least Majestic Koi. The Valley is the mecca of Nishikigoi...c'mon everyone knows that!!! Even the guys in So-Cal know it!!! NorCal baby, home of KOI-Unit!!!!

Well getting back to the age of my males, they range from 4-5 years old and in length to 18-22 inches...
