Any chance this could be a female ?

A Nisai Yamabuki that I got at Hirashin. Around 16". I got two of them, and this one is way more agressive eater.

Yes I was aware of that. I am also treating it for a ulcer on the tail. We will be giving it Anti-biotics on monday.

I just got it in late January, it and a few of the other koi are still recovering.

Looks like it could turn completely white. But, I think looks male, narrow shoulders....

Its inside for the winter (artificial light). So hopefully it will darken back up once it goes outside this summer.

Looks like a nice bunch of koi, the center one looks as if it was producing some fukerin ( whitish outline on the scale) they are pretty koi!
