Just got some Hikari sinking wheatgerm and 100% earthworm extruded pellets (sink also). I wanted to give more variety since I am feeding more sinking pellets these days than I used to do.

I'm surprised to see that Hi-Silk hasn't been mentioned yet. Is it because it's a specialty food?

Wheatgerm:

1. Hai Feng Growth.
2. Ogata Wheatgerm.
3. Hikari Wheatgerm.
4. MediCarp.
5. Aqua Master Growth.

This by no means says using these foods will make your fish better, but understanding the whole process of food, water conditions and pond size does.
1. Hai Feng Growth.

Never used it...

2. Ogata Wheatgerm.

To this Date I like it so far smeels good right out of package.... I think akinosan eats it for Breaky..

cost it good as well

3. Hikari Wheatgerm

I like it works good less waste but $$ out of wallet.. But I still intend to use it.

4. MediCarp.

Ive used it long ago... I think good outside of spring to help raise immune buut not as staple... Noticeable color enhancer if you feed to much

5. Aqua Master Growth.

Never used it

1. Ogata wheatgerm
2. Hikari Saki Growth
3. Ogata Silk Power
4. Izeki Ultra FDX

This is what we are currently feeding. We have been using this mix for the last month. Previously we mixed in Ogata Performance, but right now we are watching to see if any results from the Saki growth. We just began feeding Izeki paste food, we feed 3 times a week right now. Will increase as temps get higher.

Aquamaster- never used
hei feng - used many years ago (created lots of extra waste)
Sho Koi- never used
medicarp_ never used

Ogata Wheatgerm
Hikari Wheatgerm
Aquamaster Wheatgerm
High Silk
I'm using a combination of these foods right now, and holding out a little Ogata Wheatgerm for my breakfast. (gives me gas though!)
