Hi Lee,
nice Koi! It's a pity they are quite squeezed together in the pic and can't be clearly seen. I like more the Showa in the lower right corner of the first pic, also the one wich is second to the left at the top right corner in the third pic.
I'm curious about the parents of these Tosai. Could you post some pics of them?
Are them one year old now, am I correct? How much do they measure?
I would like to know more about how you did your breeding. Can you tell us more about it? Maybe you already posted to the forum and I have missed it, I'l check.
All the best,
Diego

Unhappy

their female parent was ordinary showa and had heavy sumi(black).
after breeding, moved her to paddy pond. but pond's condition was bad because
it was first made and i didn't have any experience.
so i can not but lose her. most of kois in the pond was dead.
their male parents are ginrin showa come from japan but couldn't know the more. they are stayed in home pond and doing well. i'll use them this year too.
not long i'll take pictures and post.
posted pictures above are about 11 months old.
their size is from 12cm(5inchs) to about 20cm(8inchs).
as mentioned, ginrin had the tendency not grow fast. now i can know that
by experience.
moving them paddy pond, it was so hard and busy to me. so i hadn't afford
take good pictures. sorry, later i'll try again.
thank you.
