Ancho worms

Hi, I need some help, Any opinion will be very well appriciated. I found some of my fish have one or two ancho worms. What should I do. Treat the whole pond or only individual fish only, Is there any harm to the bio fillters.
Thanks

Toro

Hi toro,

Dose with Dimilin, 1g/ton. Dissolve well and pour around the pond. Redose 4 days later. Dimilin will not harm your filter.

Cheers..

anchor worm

dimillin or masoten are the best treatments masoten at 0.5 gram per ton of water.
but I would suggest the removal of worms from the body, the best way to do this is dip a cotton bud in pottasium crystals with a little water, press the cotton bud onto the anchor worm. this makes the anchor worm release, making it easy for you to remove with tweezer's. then apply a topical treatment to the damaged area. hope this helps.

Hi Toro,

If it is US1500 gallon, then it would be 5.68 metric ton

If it is UK1500 gallon, then it would be 6.82 metric ton.

Hope this helps. It is ok to dose a bit more.

Cheers..
