I really like the overall look, but then I like the more flowery and not the heavy kohaku look (my avartar tell ya something about my preferences?). Very nice koi....would catch my attention if I were shopping.

Shiroji is key on this Kohak. The fact that the pattern is small on this Kohak is not an issue because of the clean white shiroji, it makes the pattern stand out more and is balance at the same time. The body lines frame the pattern well conformation is a 10 out of 10. Nice Kohak. Looks like Dan's Kohak avatar.

Thumbs up

Thank you for your comments. This kohaku is brought by our customer in March 2002 while she was 9 inches and 9 months old.

there's something special about Daiinichi's white. It's soft. Congrats for bringing in a very nice koi. I'm surprised to think they let it go at tosai. Congrats to your customer for taking such good care of it. I'm always happy to see a koi brought along from tosai instead of a finished koi raised elsewhere and purchased just to compete. Quess that's why they call it "koi keeping".....
