Talking

My perference would be 4, 2, 3, and 1. Numbers 4 &2 are much better than the others. Number 3 might be male?

It would be even nicer if #4 had more white areas.

GC, Nice no 2, Wud elbow you for that koi. After winning a breeder's koi will always be hard to get and prices will go up. Before that hobbyist may not give it a second look. Probably why they fight tooth and nail to win. Sakai's Sanke won the Wakagoi recently and all of a sudden, off springs from "Wakasoryu" ( Not sure about the spelling) had their prices shooting up.

Hi Dick, I was following you until these 2 terminology came up.
"as it gets closer to the head, kuro kuchi and hachi wade"
What do they describe.

Would a yellow head hint that it cud be a male as well?

Hi Dick,

Yes, I have been looking out for weakness in hi at the tailtube and sumi quality at the hachi area. Thanx for your advice.

Hi Bancherd,

I am still surprised by the popularity of 4 though I think it probably has the weakest body. Thanx for taking a look!

Hi Hwong,

You can keep the elbow to yourself I am still excited by #2 though I have taken in comments by everyone to heart. The prices of Maruyama kois in Singapore has been rising but I can still quite happy with this lot.

Cheers..

Maruyama Showa

Hi, how are Maruyama Showas priced there?
1 and 2 look like fanciful clowns!
3 and 4 has potential to be seen.
