Can't let the cat out of the bag about an online show...but as I said, we're developing a comprehensive "system" to do many things and interactivity is what it's all about! An online show (or series of them) sounds pretty interactive to me...what do you think?
On-line show I think it sounds cool, I just wanted you to see how hyped we all are to do something and show you how devoted we are to this board. But, for now I just wanted to how many of us would watch or interact....the response so far sound good...

Great, I knew I should have taken pics while I had all my fish out of the pond for spring cleaning, I don't stand a chance at catching them for another year, they know what the net looks like and will remember for a while. I will have to see what I can do..... hmmmm for a blue background I can lay a bit of blue platic on the pond bottom, bit of food .... my camera.... polarizing lenz/filter........... maybe.

Sounds like you want prizes or somethin'.

I say we just start a 'Kohaku show' thread and put a few photos in it. Let the peanut gallery (us) vote on best looking fish. Everybody will know whose fish is whose but that shouldn't stop us from judging fairly, right?

Turn it into a judging contest too, if you want. Have one of the contributors who is also a judge rank the fish.

Doesn't have to be formal. Don't have to be prizes. Just show off your pretties!

I you just want to post pics of your koi and then have poster rate them respectively...making it a sort of "user's choice awards" if you will, this can be accomplished very easily by setting up a poll in the thread.
