Next year's ALL-JAPAN TOKYO SHOW.

Okay just wanted to see what people would pick as next years All-Japan Tokyo Show for 2006. The first Kohaku has the won the GC already, the hobbyist is allowed to show the fish again after skipping one year. So now it can go head to head against last years Superior Champion. Who would you pick if this show down took place?

Note: the pics aren't the best...

ok.. either photoshop has better kiwa on the second koi, or it really is so. Darn that nose is white! LOL Tough call.. conformation seems similar. The skin on koi #1 was incredible.. hard to see if it is so for the second koi? Any seen it in person? I tend to prefer patterns such as koi #1 (heavier) because I like to see the hi. What is the size of the second koi?

koi #2 for me. As Bob suggests it's hard to really know until you see these koi up live in person and can sense their presence. A good photo will give you color and depth and pattern....but not the essence of the individual.

Knowing the history of the All-Japan Show...if Kohaku 2 wins next year it will be the first time a non-asian hobbyist wins and if Kohaku 1 wins it could be the 3rd fish ever to do it..Would be an interesting show to see next year....Joe you down to go?
