October mud pond harvest

I was just thinking, we are leaving for Japan on October 12th, will be going to Niigata to buy a few new girls. What will the availablity be like this year? What breeders will have 2 year olds and up? What will the most beautiful part of Japan look like now? I have hundreds of photo's of the breeders we visit and the surrounding area's... Will I still recognise the area? It sadens me to think that I will not see some of them, I know that I will miss Shinoda he had such beautiful Gin Rin showa's and Hi Utsuri's.

Shinoda will be a very very sad place to pass up for sure. I dunno even if that road is good to drive. Gotta have some way to get up to Hiroi's..

Nancy, I am going in September to check things out and visit some breeders to hang out with. Gonna of course bring my camera. The soo many roads that I have traveled will be new territory again.

Nancy, MORE KOI FOR YOUR POND? Tell Frank to start digging up the rest of the yard for another pond. Your starting to run out of room. If you keep buying koi I will have to come by and see what you're culling out. :0) Remember you will need a lot of room for that green Chagoi you want.

It gets harder each year, need more space for new fish, culling out just gets harder and harder, we have torn out our turtle pond and we are going to remove our 1500 gallon pond and make another large pond..... Need room for my Chagoi
