Thanks for that comment....I also think it pretty special. Had all the intentions of showing her at Portland as the Baby Champion there is selected from under 12 inches. However got sick and didn't go. Usually don't predict, but with this one I was 100% certain of the outcome had she been there.

Dick...haven't decided on Bothell Show. As far as Puget Sound...they all seemed so happy on their Hi Silk diet that I just didn't have the heart to deny them...lol.

Looks like you have good eyes when it come to picking koi. She is a very nice little koi and it looks like someone just stamped a square on the koi lips. I love the koi, and I might just get your help in picking my next koi I buy. Do keep us posted with the progress of this koi, I cant wait to see what she look like in another year.

Thumbs up

Yep, she will win big in the long run if she keeps improving, put her in another show somewhere, I would like to see what she does.

Mike...here one taken in December, a month after she got here. Sumi just starting to come up. The rest of the photos I have already posted in previous threads and the "manage attachments" won't let me bring them up again.
I'll keep my pre-puberty eye out for ya...lol.

It's funny in the other thread on the ZNA judging seminar when they talk about sumi placement. This Showa has text book sumi placement and a fine example of a great Kindai Showa. Conformation is great(nice spindle body), pattern is pleasing not over-powering...The balance of the 3 colors on a nice clean shiroji...This fish probably would have won Baby GC at the MAKC...
