Kindai Showa is Home...in the Pond

Posted photos before of her development. When she arrived in November only had four steps of hi and no sumi (few shadows). Introduced to the gang today. Photos taken prior to release. It's currently 11 1/2 inches.

Wow, Beautiful fish! Body shape, skin quality, beni and sumi are all excellent! I love the sumi pattern on the face. It is a killer. Who is the breeder?

I do remember the early pics of her (?). She is coming along splendidly. Body and pattern. I hope the sunken Sumi on her face goes Kage. Doubt it will, but I'd like it if it did.

And this Showa didn't go to the show? This has to be the best Showa I have seen in the size 2-3 class...Mind you I am hard to impress...If the beni was scarlet red you have yourself an All-Japan entry...

Sumi pattern arranged so nicely in this fish although it almost looked too finsih for the age. Beni and shiroji looks fair from the picture. Body is good except for tail tube which is a bit on thinner side. Overall an eye catcher definetly but i would label it traditional/old style not kindai.

Dan-

Do you have the old picture handy. Great looking fish. Will you pick one out for me at a pre-puberty age and pre-puberty price?

Mike
