Chicks really DO dig fish geeks.....

Dale Torok was kind enough to extend an invitation to Mike & I to drive down to Lexington on Sunday to see his pond and say, "Hi." Now, I'd seen pics of Dale's pond in the Lexington newspaper and viewed a couple of his fish at the Louisville show in May, so I knew he had "the goods."

Fantastic. Beautiful pond, very impressive pump house, awesome fish, gorgeous yard. But it was the group of ladies meditating by the pond that really impressed us. That guy has really got it going on!

In all seriousness, Dale has some very beautiful and healthy koi. Absolutely crystal clear water. I neglected to get any pictures of his pumphouse setup....maybe he will post a few. It has its own street address (really!)

The gals are really the University of Kentucky Dance Cats team. Apparently this is the 2nd year they have taken advantage of Dale's place for calendar photos. Chicks really do dig fish geeks. Really. Honest. I swear.

oh, it gets even better.....

Well, to make things even better more koi kichi from Louisville brought down what I believe to be a 1960 Chevy Impala. Cherry baby! Lots of shiny chrome, red & white houndstooth check style leather seats, helluva sweet ride.

Chicks apparently also dig classic cars.

Luke, I can't post those pics.......Dale made them take off the uniforms before they could get into the water. Safety concerns, fish could choke on sequins, get gill-netted in hair extensions, that kind of thing.

Boy Jen you really know how to make a guy pay attention to a post
You tease
Please for the sake of the board Don't post pics like that again.
Well maybe a few more.
Well maybe lots more.

Koi? Oh, that's right this is a koi forum, [shaking head]

Dinh, there is a few with really nice conformation in there. The abnormal lumps near the pectorals take away from the conformation though I like the heavy sumi I would guess they are a domestic bred spieces?

How come my pond doesn't look that good?

Chris,

"a few" ??? just a few??? I give you another chance to correct it.
Seems like you need to put your glass on, or perhaps need to exam
your vision soon.

You must be insane for asking Jen not to post pics like that again
or saying just a few nice body conformation;-)) You know Omosako
well known for his Shiro Utsuri and Omosako's Utsuri seems to have
heavy sumi, but excellent anyway -------

And Chris, who say domestic bred spieces can NOT win GC, YC,
or runner up champ???
