whats your favourite?????

I have a benikumonryu and a traditional kumonryu, what is your favourite as I am taking one of them to a koi show, thanks for any info.

i ALWAYS LIKE TO SEE THE NEWER IMPROVED BENI MODEL, NOT THAT THE TRADITIONAL IS ANY LESS, JUST MORE OFTEN SEEN!

I did breed a kumonryu last year that was balck and true not underlying black-blue. I held it as a tosai but was strong armed out of it this year. Funny you'd say soomething like that dale! genetically I brought it back to shusui and got only one that colored up that way. was quite striking...

Blake: Both appear to be very good examples of their type. To my eye, the character of Kumonryu is in the symetry of the patterning of the Sumi. And, in the appearance of stability when we know rationally that these fish are not stable whatsoever. So, I prefer the plain gal. Of course, by the time the day of the show arrives, they could each look quite different. If this is for the Southeast, I think you'll be safe.
