Well..I don't know if it's my best...or even my best showa. I take great pride in this Hosokai bred showa. I picked her out at 3-4 inches..from many a large group of koi. She is growing very well. She won best in size 1 at the pioneer valley show. But...she seemed to impress Burt Ballou and Joe White a great deal...as they spent a good deal of time examining her. The other competitors let out oooh's and ahhh's during the benching procedure...and even made offers to purchase her. I guess I just feel I had a great eye that day (purchased the same day as the utsuri in my avatar). I only see great potential when I look at her...and no real flaws that I wish I could fix (which is rare for me...I nitpick every fish to death). I don't know if she has the potential for jumbo..but will be very happy winning every class she is qualified to win With the growth I have seen...I am just keeping my fingers crossed with her!!!
