Hi all

Anyone tried cockels as a filter medea,
Or is it the same as oyster shells for the PH.

I used to use oyster shells in my pond and slowly found out why my Asagis were turning dark...Water here in NorCal is generally hard so there is no need for stuff like that...

The area where i live in Lincolnshire.... UK also has hard water .
