Harvesting in the US,...

Some photos from my harvest in North Carolina this past week. These Koi are some that were harvested early,... my main harvest happens at the end of October, more in line with the Niigata harvesting schedule.

Kohakus all 16 months old, 40 cm, born here in may of '04. The primary lineage characteristics are Yagozen type, though I also use parents with Sensuke & Manzo characteristics.

Best Wishes,
Brady Brandwood

Godo Job Brady, You are a damn hard worker and your love for breeding looks like it is paying off. I wish you a successful fall harvest..

Showas,...

A bowl of American Showas, born 2003. These Showas are produced from a Japanese mother and US born fathers. This line is moving toward becoming All-American. In 2004 an experimental pairing was done with all US born Showa parents, and this year (2005) two of my Showa sets are All-American parent sets.

Best Wishes,
Brady Brandwood

Brady... Looking good, better and better each year. I could kick myself for not making it down, but had a kiddo with strep throat.

Thank you for the update Brady. I am almost at a loss for words. You have some fairly impressive fish there. Keep up the hard work.
