Missing the West Coast......I have been here in the Midwest 11 days and it is koi boring....

do what i do when I go somewhere. I get a contact list of koi and bonsai clubs and call. More times then not, I make arraingements to visit with someone and since I enjoy teaching......I end up with new friends all over.

Are you feeling my pain now, bro? Been trying to plot how to get Mike to move to CA every since we were out........How much longer are you in Missou? You guys should come down to Kentucky and hang out.

Come to VA sometime. Last weekend I visited a place selling koi near here. $125 for a 4" "show quality" koi. There were some koi in the tank but I doubt even you could have found a word to describe them. Chuppa would be way too nice a word for em. The other local koi place is out of koi for the rest of the year as they got khv from not qting their last batch. They had to kill everything.

KHV? Who was this dealer? I am definitely not buying any fish from the east coast....I am pretty much a jerk when it comes to dealers and their fish, if I am not impressed I will say something to them.

I'd be more concerned about the West Coast dealer they bought them from.

Damn West Coast Dealer? Must be someone from down south, I pretty much check out all the Northern California Dealers they all seem safe....
