What do you think of this Dainichi Kohaku?

Wanted to get your opinions on this Dainichi Kohaku.

I have tried to grow four 2year old 12 inch Dainichi koi, and they seem to be stuck in a small to medium size growing curve, good color but slightly runted. I would love to see this fish grown by a beginner with nothing else to do. LOL

Got to be honest...does not light my fire. Confirmation poor, pattern so so, and the hi on the eye is very distracting.

the best grow pond in northern CA may well be my pond. I will take this koi as a project. i will let my dog ginger fishes itout of the pond the moment I think it is not going anywhere in quality.

Stan, what the hell are you doing with little koi. Why don''t you just chill and wait to see what comes in this fall. Your pond still needs to recover a bit from your water hose mistake.. .

Most likely over priced, and it does nothing at all for me.. No body, don't like pattern, Hi is marginal. Would not waste the water space or food on it. Sorry

Don't bid on it, Tony. A two year old that cannot be definitely sexed by the knowledgeable dealer has problems beyond the obvious. (But, I kinda like the pattern, although the red eye is a distraction.)
