Last time I checked, they had all piled in the car and were heading west to check out your pond. Too bad you're of town......

Not so sure about KY, but here in CA, my 5 1/2 years old daughter does not have homework on Friday. That meant that teachers do not have to grade on weekend like we have to work over the weekend.....

I think Master Dale is the only person can ask the "kick butt lady" (KBL) to clean up the filter ..... May be KBL busy taking pictures from filter room....

aquitori,

Mullberryjen took several pictures during the tour & promised to post some when she gets back online. I left my camera home so can't help you there. Hopefully, she will put some up soon.

We added an 8th pond to the tour yesterday, but most were of what you'd call the water garden variety, even though there were some small koi in a few of them. Only 3 of the 8 ponds were koi ponds, the others too small, too shallow.

I hope she got some good shots of the 15,000 gallon pond with about 100 koi in it, The largest about a 25 pound, big, fat soragoi. Another one that Mike Pfeffer called a 'guessagoi', which was about as unusual a koi as you'd ever want to see. Large mirror scales in an irregular pattern on the sides and a doitsu belly. Gold, yellow and brown colors. Looked like a cross between a matsuba and some type of doitsu. Wierd looking fish, but interesting and BIG.

C'mon jen, get those pictures up!

dinh, I'll be waiting at the airport to smack you on the back of the head when you get back to USA... Like I grade all that mess as soon as they turn it in....please. takes 2 or 3 days just to GET them to turn it in 1/2 the time.

OK, let's start with some "beauty shots" of Dale's waterfall & fish:

shot of pond showing waterfall
shot of "double trouble" ochibas
moss - there are several large clumps of moss around waterfall that naturalize the pond - look cool
