The hydroxyl radical generator. It is a DC converter that converts AC current into DC, then fires it across between many anode and cathode plates as the pond water flows between. The charge busts H20 into exotic oxygen species and OH- hydroxyl radicals. These momentarily exist and dismantle nitrogenous wastes in the water into harmless components. No biofilterat all is needed. This process requires a lot of sodium bicarbonate ( baking soda ) for a sodium source to transmit the elecricty through the water. This is bad for show koi skin BUT there are two other ways to do it. However, these are a form of experimental play and goofing off and I do not believe in the muscling water with tecnology. Too much to break down and I have a philosophy of nature. My show fish live in good, stable, naturally balanced water. Just plain old submerged filters, particulate removal by two natural methods and giant TTs.
