Opinion on this Showa

Can you please give your opinion on this Showa. He's 4 years old and has changed a lot in the last year since we redid our pond. The black is coming on his face, it was just hard to get a pic of it.

I wish we could a better pic but what the hec...Anyways, the Showa's Beni is pretty thick looks scarlet red, sumi looks to be coming up good and people say sumi on the tail is a good sigh that sumi will show up on the face. Also, people say that Showa is a 5 year project from the day you buy it....Who's the breeder and how big is it?

Very nice Motoguro. Need more time for the Sumi to develop. Colors are very bright in the photo. I am sure he would be a stand-out in the pond.

keep in mind that the black can keep coming on showa up to 8 years before you can be convinced they're finished. The slower something comes in the longer in lasts. Pretty pecs! face looks like he's crying
